Jim & Mickie McGehee settled in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood in the 70’s when they were looking for the ideal area to raise their children, Chris and Laura.
Jim was a builder by trade, and when a lot came up for sale on Dogwood Lane, they jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. Jim felt an obligation to give back to his community and he fulfilled that by creating a great place for seniors to live.
In 2001 Raleigh Hills Assisted Living and Enhanced Care Unit opened its doors.
Viewed as an extension of their home, Jim and Mickie wanted the community to reflect the comforts of home and a family atmosphere.This is demonstrated with the relationships they have formed over the years with both residents and staff. Their son, Chris, has joined them in operating the family enterprise.
Designed for gracious living with ample room to provide desired care, Raleigh Hills Assisted Living offers spacious studio, one bedroom and two bedroom suites. At Raleigh Hills, residents are recognized as individuals with special life histories.
