Saundra was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Saundra began her nursing career while in high school by obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. She began working in a skilled nursing facility with her mom and aunt were charge nurses. She continued in the healthcare field working 15 years in Home Health, both in administration and as a field nurse, caring for patients in their own homes. Saundra earned a license as a Vocational Nurse and found her passion in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. For the past 20 years Saundra has enjoyed becoming an important part of helping seniors thrive in long term care as an administrator. She cares about the big, and little things that make our residents' lives better. Using her lifetime of experience, she is able to create a home feeling within community living.
Saundra now lives in Washington with her husband John and their cat Toby. They enjoy traveling and regularly travel down to the San Francisco Bay Area to visit their children and grandchildren. In her own time, she loves to be in her craft room making cards and jewelry.
